Local Government Support Fund – Support and Assistance Fund to Participatory Budgeting is a national initiative aligned with the President’s Open Government Partnership (OGP) that aims to strengthen the partnership and collaboration between the National Government and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in delivering basic services to the community.

In 2024, the SAFPB program has selected 75 Local Government Units (LGUs) to receive funding, with each LGU in the 4th. to 6th. income classes allocated Php 13.33 million. The funding is aimed at facilitating the construction of water supply systems, sanitation and hygiene (WaSH) projects.
